​​This work reflects a satellite image three tectonic plates shifting away from each other northeastern Ethiopia. The title of the artwork refers to the title given to this image by the photographer, Torn Apart.  Text on the artwork describes the motion of the music progressing forward and the action of the plates pulling apart.
